CM Punk turns down a role in a WWE Studios film

During a recent interview with media outlets in Australia, CM Punk revealed that he has turned down an offer to star in a WWE Studios film. This is the same offer that Punk received during contract negotiations when his original WWE contract expired.
Punk stated that Stephanie McMahon thought he would be the perfect fit to star in a film titled No One Lives, in which Punk would portray "a 30-something scumbag with dirtbag good looks and soulless eyes." He said that he felt the idea was interesting, but it came up during a time in which he was contemplating leaving WWE.
Sources report that WWE still wants to have Punk star in a WWE Studios film as part of their merchandising and branding push that they will soon be involving him in. Early word is that WWE officials and WWE Studios personnel are still looking for a scriot that they think would suit Punk and want to have him signed up for a role sometime next year.

I for one would be interested to see how Punk would tackle an acting role like this.
